Here's a cool photo that someone sent me.
Right now in Toronto we were hot with a mini snowstorm that dumped 30 centimeters down today - nothing compared to the Boston area which reportedly got around 76 centimeters.
See? Who says Canada gets more snow than the U.S.? Americans, actually. The ones who live where it doesn't snow. It's why I get a kick out of some athletes saying they would rather play, say basketball in Minnesota than in Toronto. Granted Toronto sucks for taxes, but Minnesota is farther north than Toronto and is colder and gets way more snow!
Anyhow... after having spent two hours getting home from work thanks to a treacherous drive, and then 1-1/2 hours shoveling the wide driveway, I realize I yearn for a happier moment. Since that ain't happening anytime soon, let's look at the photo of the cherry blossoms. Oh look! Some poor woman has lost her umbrella on the wooden bridge.
Of course, that won't happen in Japan for another month or so - but we can all dream, can't we?
And, if you are someplace warm right now like Australia - good on ya!
Cheers
Andrew Joseph
