So... according to my Seiko watch, as I write this it's February 30, soon to be the 31st by the time you read this, and obviously, I forgot to advance it.
Ha.
I didn't make time for time.
So, let's rectify that, which sounds a lot more painful than it is.
Let's have a contest.
Since I enjoyed the Japanese comic book Naruto so much, allow me to go out and buy Volume 1 of an English version of it - brand new (worth almost $10 Canadian) - and present it to the winner. I'll even pay for the postage to anywhere you are in the world.
Now... what shall the contest be about?
I have no freaking clue.
Hmm... how about the best answer to what I should have a contest about gets the prize.
I suppose that means I'll have to offer up another prize for the real contest, but we'll hurdle that hurdle when it comes time to trip upon it.
So... the contest is: What contest should I (me, the writer of Japan - It's A Wonderful Rife) offer?
Best offer as judged by myself, gets the book prize.
The contest begins with the publication of this blog on March 3, 2013 @ 12 Noon EST (Eastern Standard Time).
This contest ends when March ends - the 47th, or something like that... no... the 31st of March, 2013, at 11:59PM EST (that's Eastern Standard Time).
Anyone is welcome to enter, as long as you have read at least five of my blogs (though I really have no way of checking if you have)... you can be a family member (Yeah, right), friend, woman I've slept with, women I've not slept with but want to, a guy (I'm not going there with the joke)... really, anyone.
The key thing to remember about designing a contest for this blog, is that it must be a contest I can actually do, and maybe even helps out this blog.
In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker goes to whomever sent the entry in first. There is only one prize to be given away for THIS contest.
So... keep it clean. And, while not necessary to win, if you want to offer suggestions as to what prize should also be offered with your contest, I'm listening. Just note I'm not a rich man, but am probably too generous to a fault.
Oh... and enter as many times as you like.
E-mail your suggestions to: iheartigor@rogers.com - subject line: Japan Contest.
Good luck.
Andrew Joseph
PS: I've brought my time machine back to the future present.
