Burlington Taiko Offers Drum Lesson

I love the Taiko - Japanese for 'big drum'.

At the Flynn Center of Performing Arts in Burlington, Vermont (USA), the Burlington Taiko ensemble will perform on the MainStage on March 24, 2013, demonstrating the style’s movement, rhythm, voice, and graceful movement of 'chi' (energy) from the player to the drum.

But, on Monday, March 25, you can take part in a Taiko Drum Workshop!

At the Flynn MainStage, between 5:30PM - 7PM - adults and teens (14+) for a mere $15 can join the  Burlington Taiko squad and learn the basics of this spirited and powerful art form. No experience necessary.

There is a limit of 45 people for this lesson.
